Dattitude with Jim Derry

Even the most skeptical of skeptics are starting to believe Tyler Shough could be the quarterback of the future for the New Orleans Saints after their comeback win - and sweep - Sunday of the Carolina Panthers.

Let's see if that's the sentiment of the 'Dat Family' on another Mano E Monday edition of Dattitude (Ep. 451) presented by Evangeline Securities.

We also talk about the insane ending of the St. Charles-Shaw Division II state championship game that made national news.

The New Orleans Saints have a chance to play a role in the NFC South race when they face the Carolina Panthers at home on Sunday. Can they finish the sweep?

And will the mess at Michigan with ex-coach Sherrone Moore have any trickle-down effect on LSU football?

NOLA.com assistant sports editor Zach Ewing is here for his weekly visit on Friday's Dattitude (Ep. 450) presented by Evangeline Securities. Host Jim Derry also is joined by the Pick Em Crew for their Best Bets of Week 15.

There's little question the two biggest matchups of the LHSAA Prep Classic - will take place Friday night with St. Charles vs. Shaw for the Division II Select Title and the BIG ONE Saturday in Division I Select between Karr and St. Augustine.

Shaw coach Hank Tierney and St. Charles’ Wayne Stein are here to talk about their rematch from Week 10, while state championship coach Nick Saltaformaggio will share his thoughts on the others.

It's a Wednesday edition of Dattitude (Ep. 449) presented by Evangeline Securities, as we also discuss the Saints going for 2 in a row vs. Carolina on Sunday in the Dome.

Is Tyler Shough the answer at QB long term for the New Orleans Saints? Following the team's 24-21 upset win at Tampa Bay, it certainly has to be looked upon as a real possibility.

We dive deep into that on another Mano E Monday edition of Dattitude (Ep. 448) presented by Evangeline Securities, and we also talk about Tulane promoting from within after whiffing on LSU DC Blake Baker.

It looks like LSU defensive coordinator Blake Baker is set to leave the Tigers and head to Tulane to replace Jon Sumrall as coach, and that would put Lane Kiffin in his first dilemma in Baton Rouge.

How will that affect each team?

NOLA.com assistant sports editor Zach Ewing is here to talk about that and preview Saints at Bucs on Friday's Dattitude (Ep. 447) presented by Evangeline Securities.

While incoming LSU football coach Lane Kiffin is working on his staff, early signing day and the opening of the transfer portal window, outgoing Tulane coach Jon Sumrall is trying to focus on this week's American Conference title game.

Who's going to be the next Green Wave coach?

Tulane play-by-play announcer Corey Gloor and LSU podcaster Matt Moscona join Wednesday's Dattitude (Ep. 446) presented by Evangeline Securities to talk about it. Host Jim Derry also will look ahead to Saints at Bucs.

With Lane Kiffin heading to Baton Rouge, LSU fans have officially renamed December 2025 "Kiffmas Season." What's next for the football Tigers?

Meanwhile, their new rival is Tulane coach Jon Sumrall, who is heading to Florida. And the Saints? Their second half in Miami was great. The first half, however was not.

What will fans and friends have to say? Let's find out on a Mano E Monday edition of Dattitude (Ep. 445) presented by Evangeline Securities.

Lane Kiffin is compiling a staff to go with him to LSU, according to multiple media outlets, while Nick Saban all but said Saturday morning on ESPN his former offensive coordinator is leaving Ole Miss. When will the official news come down?

Jim Derry, Zach Ewing and Gabe Henderson will discuss on a special Saturday Dattitude (Ep. 444) presented by Evangeline Securities.

Also, we'll briefly preview Saints at Dolphins, and whether Coach Kellen Moore will take the reins off QB Tyler Shough.

Lane Kiffin still is the head football coach at Ole Miss. However, just about every credible report has him coming to LSU - possibly as soon as Saturday morning.

Jim Derry asks WDSU-TV sports anchor Fletcher Mackel what he thinks on Wednesday's Dattitude (Ep. 443) presented by Evangeline Securities, as they also talk Saints, Pelicans and Tulane.

It was clear to see during the New Orleans Saints' 24-10 loss to the Atlanta Falcons, that feel-good period is gone. And LSU? They beat Western Kentucky by 3. Whoop-de-doo.

Meanwhile, Tulane kept control of its playoff destiny by defeating Temple.

There's plenty to talk about with fans and friends on a Mano E Monday edition of Dattitude (Ep. 442) presented by Evangeline Securities.
