Dattitude with Jim Derry

Is there anything to talk about on this crazy Friday - the calm before the storm? What about Michael Thomas and the "official" news we all knew was coming and that he has been placed on IR by the New Orleans Saints and likely is out for the season? What about Saints vs. Ravens on Monday Night Football? What about LSU vs. Alabama? Tulane - Tulsa? Tennessee vs. Georgia? The New Orleans Pelicans? Well, Jeff Duncan joins the show as he does every Friday, and we somehow pack all the above into a 75-minute Episode No. 111.

It's that time of the week again when Jim brings on Uncle Big Nick, as the duo shares their best bets for NFL Week 9 and college football's Week 10. Will Jim continue his streak of going over .500 in every week this year? And what about Saints-Ravens, LSU-Alabama, Tulane-Tulsa and the New Orleans Pelicans' brutal overtime loss at the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday? All here on Episode No. 110.

Finally. It took just shy of half a season to see the New Orleans Saints team most fans and local media expected in 2022 to show up, as they blanked the high-powered Las Vegas Raiders, 24-0, in the Caesars Superdome on Sunday. Question is: Was that a Halloween trick, or will Who Dats reap the these treats for the remainder of the year? We hear from Coach Dennis Allen, Alvin Kamara, D-Squared and Derry's Dime to breakdown the big victory.

It's Friday, so Dunc and Derry are back at it - this week previewing the New Orleans Saints' chance to get back in the NFC South race (by default) if they can defeat the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. How will the injuries affect the game, will Andy Dalton improve his play and will the defense show up? What are our game predictions? That and a little talk on the New Orleans Pelicans, as they are set for a road swing out west.

Well, there’s no more guessing who will play quarterback for the New Orleans Saints. At least not for now, according to Coach Dennis Allen. It was announced Wednesday that Andy Dalton is the starter for the foreseeable future, which proved one podcast host wrong. What do we think of the move? Lastly, Jim gets together with Uncle Big Nick for their weekly best bets, as Jim tries to up his 24-11 ATS record. The duo makes their top picks for NFL Week 8 and CFB Week 9.

The New Orleans Saints fell to 2-5 with an embarrassing 42-34 loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday night. Is the season over? Well, Jeff Duncan joins Jim Derry for their weekly Friday chat to discuss it. Let's just say the discussion is interesting. Also, Jim tries to have a seventh straight winning Best Bets week, and Uncle Big Nick tries to get off the roller coaster in our Week 7 picks segment.

It's the quickest of turnarounds in the NFL, as the New Orleans Saints can't think about what happened last week, but must focus all their attention on Thursday night's game in the desert at the Arizona Cardinals. Both teams come in 2-4, so is there any advantage for either team? Jim is joined by WWL-TV Sports Director Doug Mouton to talk about it on Ep. 105.

It's another Saints loss, but this one seems to sting a bit more than the others, as the Black and Gold never trailed until the final 2 minutes. How did they let this one slip away? Playing not to lose? We get into it all with "Derry's Dime," along with a chat with Fox-8's Garland Gillen and "The Common Fan," Dave Ducorbier, before we wrap it up with a song that seems to reflect where the Saints are before their Thursday trip to face the Arizona Cardinals.

The 2 JDs get together live as they do each Friday to talk about the Saints' upcoming game. This Sunday, the Black and Gold take on the Cincinnati Bengals in the Caesars Superdome. What's the injury situation? What are the keys to victory? And what are the predictions from Jeff and Jim?

Ready to make some money? It’s time for another Thursday chock full of picks, as Dattitude host Jim Derry is joined by Uncle Big Nick to share the duo’s top five picks of NFL Week 6 and college football Week 7. Also, as they do each Thursday through the end of the year, both handicappers go through their reasoning for each pick, as they go through some of the top games of the week, including a Saints-Bengals preview and Bills at Chiefs.
