So much focus is on Christmas Day, and on every momentous day on our calendar.  But what about the day after?   This episodes speaks to the often forgotten day on the calendar. 

Descriptions of heaven offer glimpses of glory.  Beauty, angels, singing, the throne room.  But when God's glory came to earth, it looked quite different.  The baby was not visibly a King.  He was not characterized by royalty with regard to pedigree and lifestyle.  God's glory was then, and still is, found in unexpected places.

Mothers and babies commune in a special way through gibberish.  It is meaningful for both whether or not they share words that are understood.  Can intimacy with God in prayer be characterized in the same way?  Sometimes. 

Jesus was Mary's baby.  But He's your baby too.  By His Spirit, we each carry divinity in our hearts as He sealed our salvation with the indwelling of His Spirit.  Oh, the wonder. 

News of a census disrupted the life of Joseph and Mary.  An inconvenient and difficult journey on a donkey was necessary.  They might have languished under the knowledge of their upcoming journey.  But a census got them to Bethlehem to fulfill the scripture.  What's your census?  

When we are favored by God, we might expect earthly privileges.  We aren't wired to think that it might involve a cross.  The most highly favored are often those who suffer most.  How can this be?  Find out more on today's episode. 

Tall tales.  We can usually spot them.  And let's face it, bible stories usually sound like fiction.  Never was a story more unbelievable than the story of Jesus' birth.  Believing a heaven-story takes faith, a gift God gives. 

A baby is harmless.  Jesus, in the manger, had not yet opened His mouth to speak.  But oh, how His speech would change the world. 

We love to see how our children share our physical features, even personality features.  What would a DNA test from the baby Jesus have revealed?  He was not like us.
