Diane Wagg is chair of the MMF, the largest artist management organisation in the world. She’s also the owner of Deluxxe Management & Ideal Music Productions and a member of the Musicians Health Advisory Board at Help Musicians UK.
Diane started out in A&R at EMI Records before moving into artist management where she worked with Philip Lynott from Thin Lizzy. Her roster has included Brit/Ivor nominated Triple Platinum album act, Scouting for Girls, Beth Orton, Republika & Mike Scott (The Waterboys).
Earlier in her career, Diane was Director of record producer Tony Visconti’s group of companies for five years. She managed Visconti’s Good Earth Recording Studios in London (clients included Duran Duran, George Michael, U2, the Sisters of Mercy, Altered Images and the Stranglers).
A really open conversation about how being a professional coach has helped her become a better manager, the importance of curiosity and what David Bowie was really like.
