Today we talk with Thomas, a young man who has grown up with a genetic disorder that causes all types of problems and had to deal with becoming a type 1 diabetic at age 2. He talks about what it was like growing up, the struggles he faced in school, with being "different." He talks about a very serious topic of suicide and how he overcame that thought, and just what his definition of success is as of today.

In the first real episode of Dauntless the Podcast is a journey of my dauntless path forward. My wife told me after she previewed the trailer that I need to finish the story of me so you can get to know me. Well me not wanting to talk about myself that deeply said that she had to do it with me as she is as big a part of my journey as I am. 

You will hear me get called out for not including everything, and her filling in the details from a wife's perspective of loving someone through a disability. You will hear a very hard conversation that we had that affected me in many ways and made me push even harder through what was going on with me as we didn't know yet.
