For Halloween, i've decided to record a new dark mix, using some tunes i've played before, alongside some i've not used in mixes, so turn off the lights and turn this up!!

This is my tribute to Dance Planet's first Detonator of 1993, this saw some of the finest talent on the wheels of steel spin their tunes at the Hummingbird in Birmingham. I've taken a few tunes from each of the sets released to make this one.

On Friday 27/11/92, Fantazia “The Showcase” the official launch of “The First Taste” the Fantazia album, was attended by 4,000 people dancing the night away at The Bath & West Showground, Shepton Mallet, Nr. Bath.

Continuing with the Strictly 1993 theme for this series, again using some BIG tunes alongside a few lesser played, but still corking tracks.

90's Hardcore and Happy Hardcore label from the UK and was a sub label of Basement Records The label was run by Phil Wells aka Basement Phil until the release of HG029 when it was handed over to DJs Unknown.

The majority of releases showed a map of the United Kingdom (minus Northern Ireland) with a dot marking the location of the producers.

I've taken my fave tunes from the label to make this for you!!

Label set up DJ Gwange, Q Project and Spinback in 1993, specialising in dark and intelligent jungle
