David Bahn - Reflections

God wants more than mere outward obedience. He want our hearts.

Noah did not direct that a monument be erected in his honor. He built an altar and worshipped the Lord God. 

We live after the deliverance; but still wait for the fullness of our salvation to be experienced. 

Do you know what time it is? God's time? Your time? When they intersect great blessings emerge. 

Let's remember Noah's 150 days, his additional 2-½ months, and his 40 more days. And the dove. And the sprig of the olive tree that the dove will bring. I'm believing that the wait will be well worth it.

What do you do while you wait for the final victory celebration to begin? You don't lose hope.

Is today the 150th day of waiting? Maybe tomorrow will be day 151...a day of God's remembering.

Let's be real about God's people and the world's need for mercy, grace, and salvation.

We know precious little about God - and even the flood and Noah's ark. But the little we know is precious.

Do you obey God because his commands make sense, or because you respect his character?
