On this week's episode our guest is David Burke, renowned chef and entrepreneur. A New Jersey native, Chef Burke realized he wanted to work in the restaurant industry while working as a dishwasher in his early teens. Chef Burke fell in love with the camaraderie and teamwork of a kitchen, and later learned he had a real knack for cooking. A few years later, he enrolled in the Culinary Institute of America and was head chef at the well-established River Cafe in New York City by the age of 26, a feat nearly unheard of at the time. In the years since, he has developed more than a dozen David Burke signature restaurants all over the country.
