we’re killing the planet with industry

killing our children with our greed

flames are now arising

peace and wisdom calls the Earth

your hypocrisy and lying

is so cruel and so absurd

your lining your pockets with futile greed

melting the ice and fuelling the need

for a change in your philosophy

changing your psychology

change your greed economy

you’ll be the death of you and me

you are so blind we cannot breathe

you know it’s time to Stop !

I can see the light of your soul looking at me

like me and my tribe, when hurt you bleed

I can feel the joy and light of love shine from your heart

finding kindness we can share this world's a place to start

childhood narratives they shaped how you see the world

family, culture, media tell your brain which tales to tell

look out to the world in clear sight

meanings you dream

beliefs and values, habit- filters; colour you and me

the sign of your birth ...

you come from Earth

I can see the light of your soul looking at me

feel your heart deciding if light or shade I'll be

I know there's a light of love within, a divine spark

loving diversity is a real good place to start

brother-sister souls are we; partners in light

were in peace or we're in pieces, it's true

take a different look at an ancient book

read with your heart

the eye of kindness sees the light in you

the sign of your birth ...

World turns into the night

Weary bones find softened down

Silent owl takes to flight

Smaller feet run underground

Dreamers reach for something new

Your mind drifts away into the blue

The stars light the way for you

When planet earth is blue ...

Clouds bring a shadowed ground

But in human hearts, darkness is found

In fear we lose our inner sight

Love takes cover underground

Modern city orange lights

Bring darkness to the gloom

But the stars are a light for you

When planet earth is blue ...

Morning stars bring thoughts to mind

But dreams are woven in the night

Leave fear behind at street-light’s door

And wonder with the stars tonight

Heroes cast into the sky

Wisdom’s path – alight with stars for you

The stars reach down to you

Breathless

No words can I find

To capture your face

No phrase or rhyme

Can paint your beauty

For a reader’s eyes

To embrace

How can I say ‘Love’

this light, divine ...

And even closely touch

How closely

I touch you in my heart

You may be near or far

Yet I am ever with you

This flame burns like a star

And yet my page is restless

For there are no words

That can say how I love you

 …. I am breathless

Earth Angel

A shaft of light from the spiritual

Beamed down to earth, so beautiful

Now she walks in time, unforgettable

When your heart is touched; earth angel

Her eyes clear and bight, aura so blue

Her inner mind sees the heart of you

Your heart fills with love – nothing you can do

Sweet angel falling in love with you

Earth angel - loving for the world

Earth angel – my sweet beautiful girl

Earth angel – pure heart of gold

Earth angel – let your wings unfold

Around me ...

Shield me ...

Guide me ...

Love me ...

You see magic with all things

You bring laughter’s season - I feel life’s new reason

Touched by a deepening grace

My heart opens more each time I see your face

Your voice whispers to my soul

like a haunting wind – bring Lucifer in

play softly the pipes of change

come sweet milky way, upon the forest now lay

the night held in your hands

let hope spirit rise – come dance come play

in the heart of summer’s land

the pathway twists and turns

blood brothers

carry fire without burns

and so we ramble down the road

time brings us on home

the prettiest star

nobody told me

life is a heartbreaker

the lady grinning soul

calls time into the deep

you still and always will be a tower

of strength to me

you know how wild is the wind

give me love and peace on earth without end

stray birds upon the wheel once again

soul serenity; the Ocean without end

all of life, good times and bad times

dazed and confused

and deliverance, 'chimes

godamm you're looking old'

the tear drops; the world is sold

in a wasteland, running to stand still

down in the park, by one tree hill

over the hills and far away

the starman hanging around to stay

and we can be heroes and watch that man

surrender with two hearts into the quicksand

child sleeping in a doorway cries

his broken home breaking him inside

trafficked girl screams every night

she may never return home

food-bank ‘shopping’; a modern plight

the poor to the wealthy; an irksome blight

stepping around the woman in the snow

where did our humanity go

hands of light warm the street soup stand

courageous flight to a broken land

beliefs and histories can distort the view

but there's a light within me and you

if we see the soul-full; light, within

a new dawn for your heart begins

let our hands of light find compassion's glove
