Sloani is a Joburg based singer/producer. He has produced for pop artists Armand Joubert, Connell Cruise, Zinah and Hanco, to name a few. Sloani’s production style is often noticeable not through genre, but the blend of electronic and organic elements. With a background in classical piano and passion for sound design, Sloani’s sound can be described as texture-centric with romantic undertones. Sloani began his singing career with his 2019 cover of Take on Me. Sloani cites influences such as The Neighbourhood, Finneas and Son Lux.
‘Keep In Touch’ is the first studio single by Joburg based artist Sloani of 2022. He returns to his pop roots after his lofi EP “Can you see the cat”. The song is an ode to everything we say and feel when distance is introduced to a relationship. In 2018 Sloani moved from Cape Town to Joburg to pursue a full-time career in music. This left him having to abandon a lifetime of close relationships and friendships. The song was co-written/produced by South African born, Swedish based artist Nasrene.
