The age question is one that could be interesting for the 49ers in bringing back Trent Williams and signing Alex Mack. The 49ers and Dee Ford restructured their current contract and it should help out both sides. 49ers hope they get the Dee Ford of old and the move pays off. The 49ers have money to spend, but they need to be smart with it for this season and the future. And they talk about what is the 49ers plan at back up QB since it looks like Jimmy G is going to be staying with the team.
