Adam Copeland is joined by Athletic 49ers writer David Lombardi to talk about the 49ers ending mini-camp early and how Mike McDaniel is a big key to the team's offensive success. The plan all along was to end mini-camp early, but a few big injuries on 1 of the last days made that decision much easier. New OC Mike McDaniel could be a big key to the 49ers success on offense this season. Shanahan will still call the plays, but McDaniel draws up a lot of the plays and Kyle always goes to Mike for thoughts on stuff. Mike is the guy that Kyle trusts the most on the staff since they have worked so long with each other. McDaniel is also gonna have a close relationship with Trey Lance and all the rest of the qbs. And Adam asks if there is any chance of the 49ers making a move to get TE Zach Ertz?
