In this snapshot of WA policing history we speak to David MacDonald, President of the WA Police Historical Society about the sad murder of Constable Mills of Katanning.

Constable Mills was only 28 years old when he was murdered all over the fact that he refused to grant a firearms licence to a farm worker.  Constable Mills was shot 5 times in the head.
