Is it possible that sometimes fear is spiritual in origin, not just emotional or mental, or environmental or circumstantial? History is marked by swinging pendulums of extremes. 40 years ago, everything was dealt with as a spiritual issue. Today, everything is seen as a mental health issue. We need to come back to the plumbline of God’s Word of truth. The spirit of fear seeks to immobilise God‘s people through what appears and feels so very real. But Jesus is building His church, and it is for freedom that Christ has set us free! This message was shared at Light Chapel, Scoresby VIC in October 2026.

When you fully trust someone, you hold nothing back. So what does it look like to truly trust in the Lord with all of our heart? God can work with our doubt, our confusion, our hurt, our disappointment, and our anger, but we must bring it to Him. This message was shared at Activate Church, Hamilton NZ in September 2026.

How is your core strength when it comes to your spiritual life? Standing firm in the faith is a stance where we are positioned to hold fast to God and not be knocked about by storms or winds of change, but also ready to move or pivot in response to the Holy Spirit.

To participate in spiritual resistance training requires a shift of mindset – a desire to develop perseverance rather than a desire for comfort. God makes us to stand firm by allowing us to live in an environment of resistance and providing His power to draw upon. This message was shared at Activate Church, Hamilton NZ in September 2026.

The saying "But wait, there's more..." is not just a cliche or an infomercial offering something too good to be true. The Spirit of God wants to declare over the Church that there is more! Jesus instructed His disciples to wait for the gift of the Holy Spirit. What does Father want to add to your life so that you are ready? And what does Father want to remove from your life so that you are ready? This message was shared at Grow Church, St Albans VIC in August 2026.

Whose voice are we listening to? When we say things to ourselves like, "It will never change, it’s hopeless, God can’t forgive me, it’s just my personality, I can’t move past this, I am too tired to pray, I don’t have time to read the Bible, God doesn't care," who told you that? Do you know the source of the voice you are listening to? And can you recognise the fruit of the voice you are listening to? If you don’t know what God has spoken, you can’t live by what God says. ‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬This message was shared at Light Chapel in Scoresby, VIC in July 2026.

What does it look like to hear God's voice during the night? The watches of the night are not just referring to times when we are in bed or asleep. From a scriptural and historical context, the first watch started at sundown (around 6pm) and the last watch finished at sunrise (6am). Sometimes we are asleep to God’s voice during the day, so God needs to awaken us to His Word during the watches of the night!

God also speaks to people in dreams and visions. How can we discern the origin of our dreams - is what we are experiencing a soul dream, is it something from God, or is there another cause? What about nightmares or night terrors? Sally gives an overview from scripture on some of the ways God speaks through dreams, and how to respond to dreams that cause fear or dread.

Many of our decisions are based on natural realities, not on spiritual sight. But we walk by faith, not by sight! Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we can see what is happening in the spiritual realm. When we see in the Spirit, we see God as He is, and we see ourselves as we are. We say yes to the call of God without fear holding us back. As we see in the Spirit, God's will is brought from heaven to earth, to the glory of God. The power of God is always for God’s purpose. The visitation of God is never to entertain God’s people, it is always about the kingdom. The power of God is not just to feel good, it’s about the salvation of mankind! There is always a process before God releases His power. If you are asking for the power of God without the purposes of God, the power will ultimately corrupt. This message was shared at Peninsula City Church Frankston, VIC in June 2026.

Prophecy is hearing what God is saying, not what we are thinking. Prophecy is seeing what God is showing, not what we naturally see. When we prophesy, we are part of a supply chain of Father’s mind, will, and intention. If you have questions on prophecy, this video gives a great foundation from scripture. Steve unpacks God's intention for prophecy and what it means to prophesy, and shows how prayer and purity are essential components in the prophetic. From the picture of a symphony orchestra, Sally looks at the platform, our position, our preparation, and our protocol in worship. This session from a worship conference unpacks both the spiritual and the practical in how we can truly come to an agreement of sound, which makes way for the presence of the Lord and the glory of God.
