Police Veterans Victoria is a not-for-profit organization that supports Victorian police veterans and their families. It is one of just a few independent organizations assisting to close the gap of this issue.
In the episode David and Mick highlight the lack of fairness in support for police veterans comparatively to other sectors like military, the challenges of officers coming forward to get help, the lack of political support for the issue, and the situations police are subjected to daily that brings on PTSD.
