It can be a confusing time, for those of us who like to keep track of the economy, and where it may be headed.

It was announced that the Nation's Gross Domestic Product, it's GDP, came in at a remarkable 6.9% annualized growth rate for the fourth quarter of 2021.

GDP Grew in that all important fourth quarter at the best rate in 33 years. While real estate and the stock market both appreciate by solid double digits.

Truly remarkable numbers.

But beware of the financial legerdemain which lead us to these levels. All that glitters was most definitely not gold.
