Bull markets have leaders. Innovative companies that lead the country into a new economy, and who's stocks power the market to higher and higher levels.

In the past these leadership companies have had such names as the nifty 50. 50 companies back a generation or two ago who helped power the dynamic American economy of the 1950's and 60's.

How Much does it cost to censor a sitting President? About $4 ½ billion dollars. At least that was the market value lost by Twitter after they had shut down President Trumps Twitter Account this weekend.

Four and a half Billion dollars, about 6 1/2% of Twitters entire market cap in just a day. As thousands of investors sold stock in what was considered perhaps the principal growth area in all of the stock market.

This weekend Jack Dorsey, at Twitter shut off all of President Trump's Accounts. And thereby fired the first shot in what promises to be an all out Cyber War.

Since Trump descended the escalator at Trump Tower to announce his campaign for President, Twitter has been his more effective and often used method of communicating with the American People.

Literally millions watched his daily tweets to learn what the President was thinking and what he had planned for the nation. Without a doubt Trump's account was one of the most widely watched and closely followed Twitter Accounts around.

Today, as he sits in his office, Donald Trump is presented with a similar dilemma. A Gordian Knot, if you will, that seems unable to be solved.

The problem is our election system.

On Wednesday, the US Congress certified Joe Biden as the next President of the United States. He enters the office as the oldest person to ever hold that position. As a matter of fact he will become President at age 78, one year older than Ronald Reagan was when he left the Presidency at age 77.

And if there is one thing we know about people of this advanced age, I can speak from personal experience, it is that their mind is pretty well set. What they believe is what they believe, and it's not likely that any of us could change them.

The events in Washington reminded me, once again, of the importance of Incremental Investing.

Just yesterday, we saw tremendous turmoil in out country. People traveled from great distance to voice their displeasure with how things are working in government. Some in the crowd turned violent...

So Mitt Romney got on the plane last night, headed back to Washington DC. Mitt as you know is the Senator from Utah, and one of the most successful politicians of our era. Having served as Governor of Massachuetts, now Senator, and back in 2012 as the Republican nominee for President.

But he must have been shocked by last night's reaction by the other passengers on the plane. Mitt was greeted by boos, and shouts of traitor. And his fellow Utah citizens weren't at all subtle about their displeasure in seeing the junior Senator from their home state.

It was clear from their reaction, that Mitt is in trouble politically.

Tomorrow the Electoral College Results will be presented to a joint session of Congress. At that session, more than a hundred congressmen and eleven senators have announced that they are likely to challenge the results.

This will result in the Congress and Senate moving to their respective halls to vote on which competing electors should be accepted. And consequently, who should become the next President.

In the middle of all this, Senator Ted Cruz of Texas has proposed a compromise position. One that has been used before in this country. Cruz proposes that an audit be performed on the election. And report in 10 days on their finding.
