Sheldon Adelson, the Chairman of the Sands Las Vegas, the big casino resort, has been around a long long time. And yet he see's the times were going through now, as one of the most challenging of his career. On reporting earnings that were less than half what the Sand's had achieved the same quarter last year. Adelson had this to say:

"The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on our business has been unprecedented, and I have never seen anything like it in my over seventy years in business,"

Quite a comment from the octogenarian. And his sentiment was echoed by company after company, as we began the first full week of earnings season.
