The holidays have officially begun. That time of the year when we visit friends and family, celebrate advent, and perhaps shop for gifts.
This season has started on a high note. Many are willing to set aside much of the negativity that surrounds us and focus on a better future.
And the economy seemed to agree. In one of the most surprising reports lately, the "Bureau of Economic Analysis" revised their last GDP estimate higher. GDP is the measure of all the goods and services produced in the economy. By adjusting that new growth rate above the 2% level, the BEA underscores the upbeat attitude of most this holiday season.
