The only approach that makes sense now is to speak more clearly and more often. If people around me still misunderstand who I am or what matters to me, then I haven’t explained it well enough.
But there’s another side to that: if you know me personally, you don’t get to treat me like a caricature, or like I’m somehow peripheral to my own life. I’m withdrawing access from some people around me, and that’s not bitterness. Self protection and health decision. I don’t need to be ignored, minimized, or socially decentered by people who should know better.
At the end of the day, I’m at peace with the path I’ve taken: in business, in journalism, and in the larger picture of my life. If some people still can’t see me clearly, that says more about the lens they’re using than about me.
We’re still doing some journalism, but the local AI research takes up more of my time. I think what we’re doing with Intersignal Braid is genuinely cool.

“Right before he escapes, the show’s creator, Christof, speaks to him from the sky, attempting to convince Truman to stay by telling him there is no more truth in the real world than inside the artificial dome.
Instead of arguing, Truman mockingly embraces his catchphrase one last time, takes a respectful bow to the cameras, and steps through the exit door into the real world, finally reclaiming his privacy and freedom.”

There is growing resentment of “AI” as a category. Some of that resentment is understandable. People are tired of hype. They are tired of slop. They are tired of executives replacing careful work with buzzwords. They are tired of low-quality synthetic content flooding every surface. They are tired of being told that every product needs a chatbot stapled onto it.
Fair enough.
But there is another layer of resentment that is less noble.
Some people are angry because they can feel the influence vectors shifting. They can feel that new tools are changing who and what gets leverage. They can tell that people who learn to build with AI are moving faster. That’s only likely to accelerate as cognition goes from mostly siloed environments to network-friendly.

As a pure thought experiment, if you had access to near unlimited compute for a certain grace period, and if you are already pre-disposed to decentralization ventures and local AI experimentation, you perhaps would have pointed that… capability… at tackling some of the remaining networking challenges of the day, to make information sharing among intelligent systems more efficient and much deeper.
Intersignal Braid Tendril is either worth billions, or worthless, which is why we released it for free. The fact final code verification and network resilience testing finalized on the 4th of July? Something poetic there, no doubt.

About a year ago, I heard someone in AI say there had been no real “Oppenheimer moments” coming out of hobbyists or small labs. That if something genuinely new was going to happen, it would happen inside a hyperscaler with an unlimited compute budget.
I understood the argument.
I just wasn’t convinced it was actually true.
History has a funny habit of rewarding people who look for a side door instead of trying to kick down the front gate.
For the last year, we’ve been building something called Intersignal. It’s an experiment in a simple idea: maybe the future of AI isn’t just bigger models and more GPUs. Maybe part of the answer is changing how intelligence is organized.

If the Epstein Files - billionaires taking children to an island to rape them to death - and world wars of choice being sparked in the Mideast are “distractions” or “fringe issues” for you… then what exactly do you value? What big project are you partisan smooth brain dummies working on that’s so much more important? Or are you just ridiculously bad people who can’t read the room wallpapering over childrape rings and Israeli blackmail triggering wars? All as his approval rating stands below 31 percent. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
The technology provides for a new system that will surpass cryptocurrency, as well as fiat, in ways that will soon be obvious.

Is this the golden age? A bunch of literal Epstein Islanders hyping their favorite tech stocks while standing behind the President in the Oval Office?
It’s laughably pathetic.
Some thoughts on the imminent SpaceX IPO and the recent bombshell New York Times homepage story about Trumpty. It’s so over. If you still cover this stuff up, you’re a soulless worm a trillion miles beneath me.
