Simon is one fascinating author. I had no idea about his past, but he is a terrific writer. And as you can hear, a very smart one. I am ashamed to admit I have not read him before, but I will eagerly await the next book. His accent is terrific, and he is a terrific storyteller. I knew nothing about him before this interview, and I am so glad I did it.

He wrote a trilogy before, which seemed to be a hit, the SANCTUS trilogy. Will have to check it out.
