Sometimes when it comes to our finances it seems like we have been left out, but it isn't so.

It takes a prophet who has been in a certain place to take you there.

Stop listening to people who tell you you can’t be what you dream about. It isn’t about what you read/studied. It is about your season.

Pursue the man of God to bring you out of trouble. Pursue them through their messages, books, etc.

Welcome to Gaining Momentum Day 5.

Even if you don’t have any money in your hand make sure you have a staff. The word of God is your staff, it must give you direction.

In 2020 you mustn’t waste time, putting away till tomorrow what you can do today.

Psalm 23:1-6 - When all things are ready, you can’t lack anything.

This isn’t the year to pray for the demise of your enemies because you’ll need people to clear up after your many meals.

God will bless you in the presence of your haters this year.

Psalm 23:6 - Everywhere you go this year, goodness and mercy will follow to make sure you don’t go down.

Deut. 11:12 - From the beginning to the ending of this year, God is with you.

Isaiah 12:3 - You can’t afford to be sad this year because your joy gives you access.

2020 isn’t just an ordinary year, it is the beginning of a decade.

Psalm 72:8 - This decade we’ll have dominion all around.

The best way to pay God compliment is to ask Him for great things.

2 Cor. 1:20 - God’s promises are yes to our amen, no matter how many they are.

The key to receiving is partnering with God.

As you enter into covenant with God this year, you must go with the staff He has given you because with that everything you need is supplied.

If there is any trace of lack, sickness, stagnation, and hopelessness in your life, it is shattered tonight in Jesus name. Amen.

You crossed over. You're still here. Are you ready for God this year?

We have a God who makes something out of nothing. He doesn't need your connection or possession to bless you.

The Lord is MY shepherd!

This is the year that has God's eye over it from the very beginning to the very end.

This year, great things will happen so fast that you won't be able to keep up. Blessings will be everywhere like wine pouring out of the mountains.

A decade is too long to waste, but it's too short if you don't know what to do.

This is the decade where you'll not just flourish, but you also expand and have dominion over the earth.

No matter how many the promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ.

Work in partnership with God and all things will work together for your good.

This year, God has promised that all things are now ready. The question is, "Are you ready?"

It's been an awesome time today.

One of the most exciting things about our God is that He is a living God. He is a God who talks to us in real-time.

2020 will be a year of clarity. You will not struggle in this year because you will see clearly. 

Remember, it is what you see that you can get. 

Abraham wanted a child, but God wanted to give him nations. God had to show Abraham a vision of what He had in store for him. 

Genesis 15:5

This year, you will see the vision of God's plan for your life. 

God said, "Let there be light" and there was light. 

Genesis 1:3

You need God's light to navigate the new territories He is moving you to.

You will not stumble! 

When God unveils the mighty things that are underway, the whole world will marvel. 

Rom. 8:18

All things are now ready. But you need to be able to recognize God's "ALL THINGS".

Not everything is acceptable for you. God will give you the right things - blessings that come with no sorrow. 

"If you can find it in the Word, you can have it in your world."

Don't let the first set of blessings you receive distract you from God. It's going to be a buffet of blessings.

Luke 14:22

It is not a year of laziness, but it is a year of rest. The blessings God is sending you will not stress you. 

This is the year that the land will yield your harvest. You will eat to your fill and you will dwell in safety. 

Lev. 25:19

When God says all things, it means nothing is left out. Don't limit your capacity to receive from God. 

Hebrews 2:8

God's divine power has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness. God will bless you and you will retain your integrity. 

2 Peter 1:3

All things that belong to God are yours. We are joint-heirs with Christ! 

John 17:10

We have the assurance that all things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose. 

Rom. 8:28

All things are possible to him who believes. This is the year that all you have to do is show up at the table with faith and trusting the God who is faithful to His promise. 

Mark 9:23

3 things to note this year:

1. Don't disobey God's instructions. Be sensitive in your spirit.

2. Don't doubt God.

3. Don't allow yourself to be distracted by anything.

No one lights a candle and hides it under a bushel. 

Your light will shine so brightly that it will be impossible to hide. 

Luke 8:16

God is putting an end to all delayed prophecies over your life. 

Ezekiel 12:22-23;25;28

This is God's year to act on your behalf.

Reasons Some People May Not Partake of The Feast:

1. Hating on other people whose food (blessing, miracles, breakthrough etc) has come, while yours hasn’t.

2. The sin of familiarity. Familiarity is one of the biggest reasons why some people will never receive. They are too familiar with the prophet or too familiar with the word. Matthew 13:55

You can be where there is a heavy move of God and not know it.

God is bringing His word to elevate you this evening.

Gaining Momentum is God's instrument to cause a shift in your life. There's an anointing present to make you "go over" every Jordan and lead you into the promised land.

Get ready for territories! You're unstoppable. As God was with His servant, Moses, so will He be with you.

This year, your ears are popping open to hear what God is speaking over your life. You will enjoy clarity and divine direction. 

Jer. 1:4-10

It's time to understand that God has called us to possess the lands He has placed before us. 

We cannot enter this decade without knowing what God requires from us. 

This year is a birth canal. We cannot have a church as usual. God is setting us up as that "invading" generation that is busy taking nations for the glory of His name.

Before the issues of life formed you into a personality, God gave you a persona.

Are you living by what God has said about you?

Before you gain momentum, you need to get on your mark.

You need to prepare to take up the assignment God has given you because God has chosen you and you have an identity in Him.

When you have an identity crisis, you are not set on your mark. 

Your mark is your root in God. It is your place of identity in Christ. 

You are not what the media, people and the world call you. You are who God has called you. 

Do you know who you are?

Every one of us is a distinct image of God. When you get on your mark, you realize that no one is your "mate". You stop competing with people and trust God's unique plan for your life. 

As you gain momentum, ensure you're not running on another man's lane.

Get on your own path.

You're not defined by the world.

Stay with the encounters God has given you. 

Before you were born, God sanctified you (set you apart). You are not like every other person. God has differentiated you for His purpose. 

Jer. 1:5

Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish.

Psalm 92:13

Are you set in God's house or are you a once-in-a-while member of God's household? 

When God has a MANDATE, He prepares the man and sets a date. Get set for the appointed time of the Lord. 

To be S. E. T is to be "Supernaturally Empowered To"

Are you set?

As a priest, you experience God. As a prophet, you can direct people into the mind of God. God has ordained you as a priest and prophet.

When you fellowship with God in your priestly capacity, you become a solution to your generation in your prophetic capacity. 

Our fathers took cities as one man. We're taking nations as an army! 

You have the anointing of God over you to work signs and wonders. 

Mark 16:17

Go in the might of God's word and take territories! 

See you tomorrow.

Genesis 26:12 KJV

Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received h in the same year a hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him.

This year is a special year, you shall ripe a hundredfold. 

Leviticus 25:20-21 KJV

And if ye shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase: [21] Then I will command my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years.

There is what the Bible calls commanded blessing and when it comes, nothing can stop it.

When God commands His blessing, it births multiple harvests. Your days will be extremely productive. 

Exodus 14:14-15 KJV

shall d hold your peace. [15] And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:

In Egypt, the Israelites were in the land of not enough. And God was leading them to the land of more than enough, through the wilderness where they had just enough.

It's time to go forward. In the year 2020, you will accelerate.

1 Kings 18:41 KJV

And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain.

1 Kings 18:46 KJV

And the hand of the Lord was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel. 

This year, as the hand of God comes upon you, you will overtake those that have gone ahead of you.

You will accelerate! 

Obadiah 1:17 KJV

But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance,  and there x shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.

This year you shall possess your possessions. You will take over your inheritance.

Genesis 11:31 KJV

the son of Haran his son's son, and Sarai his daughter in law, his son Abram's wife; and they went forth with them from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan; and they came unto Haran, and dwelt there.

When God told the Israelites to go forward, he was talking about Canaan. There was something special about Canaan. Canaan was the land of their inheritance

Follow the instruction that God has given to you.

God's word is greater than a good word.

Do not walk by sight. Follow God's word.

Do not walk by the limitations of the economy.. Follow God's word.

Your prosperity is not a factor of Geography, it's a factor of God's presence with you.

To Receive your inheritance this year:

1. Become a covenant child of God.

2. Be spiritually-minded. Value spiritual things.

3. Believe God for your land Genesis 15: 6

4. Build an altar for your land.

Genesis 8:20.

5. Go in search of your Land.  Faith without corresponding action is dead..

6. Take possession of your land.

 Joshua 21:43.

Faith honors God and God honors faith.

So, when God speaks and you believe, he honors his word.

And being fully persuaded that what he had promised, he was able to also to perform.

When God is about to do great things in your life, he gives you what you're supposed to receive and makes you hear what you're supposed to hear.

This year you will dwell in safety.

For God will command his blessings upon you this year.

And it shall be multiple harvests.

Leviticus 25:19-21

As you sow this year, your harvest shall be x100

Genesis 26:12

👆What that means is that your harvest this year will be that of a 100 years!

Topic: The power of the cross

Opening Text: John 19: 17-20

Jesus knew how he was going to die and of all the possible ways he could die, this was the one he chose. He knew his death would be shameful and public but he also knew it would draw people to him.

The word of God is powerful by itself. And the teaching of the word brings forth the power of God.

The Cross has become the symbol of Christianity. We see it everywhere. In painting, in cars, as jewelry but the Cross was not designed to be a symbol of faith.

In the time of Jesus, it was a sign of shame and punishment.

There were so many ways Jesus could've died. But he chose the most horrible death available at that time.

 It was not the choice of the Jews or the Romans, but his choice. He knew it, way before he was going to die on it.

 1 Cor 1:22-24.

Paul says we preach Christ, crucified.

If the story of Christ was invented by men, it would've been one of sweetness and niceness.. not of shame.. not one of the Cross.

In those days, to the Jews, the Cross was a curse so it was a stumbling block. To the Greek, a Saviour is expected to be strong.. have dominion.. mostly like Greek mythology.. The Cross is preached because that is the truth and there is nothing else to tell.

Psalm 22:1

Matthew 27:46..

Jesus was fulfilling scripture.. even with the words he mentioned in Matthew 27:46..

Psalm 22:1-18.

The Cross was chosen by Jesus to be the way he would die, the way by which new life would come to us.

Galatians 3:10-16.

Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the Law so that the blessings of Abraham would come unto us by faith.

Christ paid a very painful price for our redemption and it would be a shame and a waste if we who have been redeemed, still go back and operate under the curse of the law.

 John 3:14-15.

 Numbers 21:8-9

The problem we as Christians have is that we run after the Devil when we should be looking unto Jesus who has been lifted up.

As Christians, we have to have the discipline to look to Jesus, even when the things chasing us hurt us badly. The Cross is powerful by itself and you cannot add to it.

No amount of prayer gymnastics will make the Cross more powerful that it already is. The power is not in the volume of your voice..

 Christ bore the most shameful death so that we would have no shame.

Witches have the Democratic right to be witches.. that's their choice. But when Jesus Christ died on the Cross, he gave us immunity from the devil himself.

The reason why we are gaining momentum is because of the Cross.. because of the pain and shame that Jesus suffered.

Matthew 27:46.. This was the only verse in the scriptures where Jesus called God, God. And this was because He turned away from Jesus... That the scriptures be fulfilled.

There is power in the Cross because of Jesus Christ who died on it.

Deu 11:26-29

Psalm 23:5 KJV

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

This month, we will study Father Abraham who partook of these blessings. 

Genesis 24:1 KJV

And Abraham was old, and well stricken in age: and the Lord had blessed Abraham in all things.

Isaiah 51:2 - 3KJV

Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah, that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him... 

God called Abraham. His calling was a threefold call. 

Genesis 12:1-3

1. A calling to walk with God;  A calling for fellowship and friendship. Abraham was God's friend. He had a personal and good relationship with God.

This year Build a relationship with God. Pray and study the word. Know God better for yourself.

2. A calling to Fulfill divine purpose: Every child of God has a divine purpose/calling for their life.

Don't be so consumed with your earthly purpose and challenges that you forfeit your divine purpose.

The key to achieving your divine purpose is obedience to God calling.

Abraham's divine purpose linked us to God and through that lineage, Jesus Christ was born. 

3. A calling to prosper;

Genesis 12:2 KJV

And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great, and thou shalt be a blessing:

Abraham was one of the wealthiest men that ever lived, God blessed him richly 

Abraham was a crazy giver When God asked for his son as a sacrifice he gave.

Abraham's secret for receiving God's blessings in all things was obedience, whenever God gave him an instruction he obeyed.
