Sermon: Reverse The Curse Release The Blessing Part 5
Sermon by: Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo
Every promise of God has the ability in itself to bring it to pass.
The word of God is referred to as a seed because it has life in itself to produce.
Through Jesus Christ, the blessing of Abraham is every Christian's inheritance.
And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great, and thou shalt be a blessing:
And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
There is a vengeance part of the blessing. God defends His people.
And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
God fought for Abraham and his family at all times, even when he made mistakes.
Twice Abraham lied that his wife Sahara was his sister. The kings took her but God always stepped in and fought for him.
How shall I curse, whom God hath not cursed? or how shall I defy, whom the LORD hath not defied?
You cannot curse whom the Lord has blessed.
Hast, not thou made a hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
Job was not aware of God's coverage over Him and what he feared came upon him.
Job's fear broke the hedge and the serpent attacked.
God can never curse anybody, but we can expose ourselves to curse by the engaging in immortality (maltreating your wife, stealing, sleeping with another's spouse, not tithing ...).
Confidence in the blessing is crucial.
It is not enough to be aware of The blessing upon our life, but we must also believe in its potency and it will be manifest in our life.
