David's compassion from the last episode carried over at the beginning of our time together as he asserted his intent to care more by listening more. Then he told a fresh story about his shorts…which led into other stories about bygone shorts…which led to him refusing to accept that Haitians watching him on the toilet and asking him if he was OK was a form of love that listens.
