People who staff night-watch continually comment that there is a different level of intimacy when worshipping Jesus throughout the night.

God also empowers a special impartation of breakthrough in the night:

- Moses crossing the Red Sea

- Nehemiah looks at the walls of Jerusalem

- Jesus walking on water

- The last supper and Jesus’ prayer
