Italy have WON the 2023 Davis Cup! And Joel and Kim are back one final time live from Malaga to round up all the final day’s action from the Palacio de Deportes.
Matteo Arnaldi was drafted back in to the Italian team again and came through an up-and-down battle (saving many a break point!) with Alexei Popyrin to put Italy 1-0 up, before Jannik Sinner got Italy across the finish line by demolishing Alex de Minaur for the loss of just 3 games to give Italy their first Davis Cup title in 47 years. Australia finish as runners up for the second year in a row.
Joel and Kim chat through the on court action today from Malaga, their experiences of the tournament as a whole, and also look ahead to the 2024 Qualifying draws for both the Davis Cup and the Billie Jean King Cup which were announced today in Malaga.
