  • And many more!

About Dawn Manske:

I am a St. Louis native but have had the chance to live in other parts of the world. During 10 years of living in China and visiting orphanages full of little girls, I saw for myself how “devaluation of the girl child” impacts not only the abandoned girls, but also the boys and families of an entire country. I also learned about the horrors of trafficking after getting to know children and teens that had been victims of human trafficking.

Back in the States, the concept of social enterprises, and the desire to help provide job training and life skills for women rescued from sex trafficking converged in my mind with numerous compliments about my favorite international pants, and the result is Made for Freedom.

Made for Freedom is building a lifestyle brand as a social enterprise that provides life-changing education for women rescued from sex trafficking with proceeds from its ultra-comfortable, bohemian chic pants.
