It's college acceptance time and my god what a nightmare. Jack and Jen have decided that they're going to go to the same college but Jen is hesitant about going back to New York.

When Dawson's parents and Joey's sister call the school and ask them both to call home about college mail (seriously, this was not a thing) they learn that Joey got into Worthington (a very real college) and Dawson did not get into NYU.

But of course, reality is slapped into Joey when she doesn't get financial aid, and thus can't go. Dawson makes the choice to give her Mr. Brooks's money but Joey decides that if she's going to take it she needs to tell Dawson about her virginity, which is a choice.
