Proverbs 10

- the wise son brings joy to parents, but the foolish brings grief; righteous living yields blessing, diligence leads to abundance while laziness to poverty

- honest speech is precious and brings life, hatred stirs strife; the wise store knowledge, the righteous find lasting hope and security

Psalms 46

- God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble; though earth shake and mountains fall into the sea, we will not fear, for He makes wars cease and is exalted

Psalms 47

- clap hands and shout to God with cries of joy; the Lord Most High reigns over all nations from His holy throne, He subdues peoples and chooses our inheritance

Psalms 48

- great is the Lord in Zion, beautiful in elevation and joy of the earth; God makes His city secure forever, consider her ramparts and tell the next generation He is our guide

Psalms 49

- hear this, all peoples: riches cannot redeem life or avert death; the wise and foolish alike perish, but God will ransom my soul from the grave and receive me

- the Mighty One calls heaven and earth to judge His people; offer thanksgiving as sacrifice and call on Me in trouble for deliverance; the wicked are rebuked for hypocrisy in reciting statutes while hating discipline
