DAY 107: 1 Samuel 25–27
1 Samuel 25–27 reveals how prolonged pressure begins to expose the cracks in even a faithful man, as David moves between restraint, near failure, and quiet drift. Though he refuses to seize the kingdom by force and is providentially restrained from vengeance, the ongoing strain eventually leads him to act out of fear rather than promise, showing how compromise often emerges slowly under sustained trial. These chapters ultimately point to Christ, the flawless King who never wavers under pressure, never takes vengeance into His own hands, and secures perfect faithfulness for His people, holding them fast even when they begin to falter.
