What if a clear conscience changes nothing?

In today’s episode of Five Minute Bible, we reach Job 29–31, the final words of the human conversation. Job is finished arguing. Finished explaining. Finished defending. He now stands alone—without law, priest, or sacrifice—and offers his life as testimony.

These chapters force an uncomfortable reality into the open. Job remembers who he was. He faces who he is now. And then he does the unthinkable—he examines his life honestly and finds no hidden fraud. His conscience is clear. His suffering remains.

What do we do when doing the right thing brings no relief?
