Warnings feel easy to ignore until the door closes. You can snooze alarms, dismiss advice, avoid hard conversations, and tell yourself there will always be more time.

God tells Noah to enter the ark with his household because He has seen Noah’s righteousness. Noah brings clean and unclean animals, birds, and food, exactly as God commands.

First Peter 3 looks back at the days of Noah and says God waited patiently while the ark was being prepared. Only a few were brought safely through water.

God is patient, but His patience is not permission to ignore Him. He waits, warns, commands, and provides rescue.

The flood shows that judgment is real, but it also points to the deeper rescue found in Jesus. At the cross, Jesus faced judgment so His people could be brought safely into life.

Do not delay one honest response to God. Name one area where you have heard His warning but kept putting off obedience.

REFLECT & RESPOND

Key Line: God’s patience is mercy, not permission to keep ignoring Him.

Reflection Question: What warning from God have you been treating like background noise?

Practice: Take one concrete step of repentance today before you move on to something else.

PRAYER

God, I admit that I treat Your patience like it means I have unlimited time. Wake me up where I have been delaying obedience. Thank You for providing rescue in Jesus.
