DAY 116: Psalms 73, 77–78

Psalms 73, 77–78 bring us into the worship of Israel under Asaph, revealing how faith is tested and restored when reality seems to contradict what we know about God. From personal doubt over the prosperity of the wicked, to intentional remembrance of God’s mighty acts, to a sweeping retelling of Israel’s repeated rebellion, these psalms show that clarity comes not by changing circumstances but by seeing everything through God’s revealed truth. They ultimately point to Christ, the true Shepherd and greater redemption, who resolves the tension between appearance and reality, judges the wicked, and leads His people in a kingdom that steadily advances in truth and righteousness.
