DAY 117: 1 Chronicles 6

1 Chronicles 6 pulls back the curtain on the structure behind Israel’s worship, revealing how God appointed the priesthood, established the Levites, and ordered every aspect of access to His presence. This chapter shows that a holy God does not leave worship undefined, but carefully regulates how sinful people may draw near, holding together both His nearness and His holiness through a mediated system. These realities ultimately point to Christ, the true and final High Priest, who fulfills what this system could only anticipate, bringing full access to God through His once-for-all sacrifice and establishing a kingdom where worship is no longer confined, but spreads across the earth through a people made holy in Him.
