It is one thing to ignore God when life feels normal. It is another thing when the consequences start crawling into every room.
The Lord sends Moses back to Pharaoh with the same command: “Let My people go, that they may serve Me.” If Pharaoh refuses, the Nile will swarm with frogs. Aaron stretches out his hand over Egypt’s waters, and frogs come up over the land.
Psalm 105 retells the plague by saying Egypt’s land swarmed with frogs, even in the chambers of their kings. That context reminds you the plague was not random chaos.
God is patient and precise. He gives Pharaoh warning before the plague and removes the frogs when Moses prays.
The plagues show that God judges proud rebellion, but they also prepare us to understand rescue. Jesus does not merely remove uncomfortable consequences.
Notice one place where you want God to remove consequences but are resisting obedience. Be honest about it.

REFLECT & RESPOND
Key Line: Relief without repentance can make you harder, not freer.
Reflection Question: Where are you asking God to remove discomfort while still resisting what He has told you to do?
Practice: Name one area of resistance and take one specific step of obedience today.

PRAYER
Lord, I admit that I often want relief more than repentance. I want consequences to stop while still holding onto control. Please soften me before I become harder.
