DAY 123: Psalms 106–107
Psalms 106–107 reveal the repeating cycle that runs through Israel’s history: God’s people forget Him, drift into sin, cry out in distress, and are rescued again by His steadfast mercy. These psalms expose how spiritual collapse begins not with open rebellion but with forgetfulness, while also showing that restoration begins when God’s people remember His works, return to Him, and give thanks for His covenant faithfulness. They ultimately point to Christ, who does not merely rescue His people within the cycle but breaks it entirely through His perfect obedience, transforming hearts and bringing a lasting redemption that leads the lost, frees the captive, heals the broken, and secures a people who remember and worship God rightly.
