Some meals are more than food. They carry memory, identity, and belonging.
The Lord tells Moses and Aaron that this month will become the beginning of Israel’s year. Each household must take a lamb without blemish, one per family, and keep it until the fourteenth day.
First Corinthians 5 says, “Christ, our Passover Lamb, has been sacrificed.” Paul sees the Passover fulfilled in Jesus. The lamb’s blood shielded Israel from judgment and marked them for deliverance.
God rescues through substitution and gives His people a memory to rehearse. He does not tell Israel to survive judgment through strength, speed, or moral superiority.
Jesus is the spotless Lamb whose blood protects from judgment. He is not sacrificed unwillingly or temporarily.
Choose one simple way to remember Christ’s sacrifice. Read 1 Corinthians 5:7 aloud, draw a small cross in your notes, or pause before a meal to thank Jesus for being your Passover Lamb.

REFLECT & RESPOND
Key Line: Rescue rests on God’s provided Lamb, not on your ability to deserve safety.
Reflection Question: Where are you still trying to prove yourself worthy instead of trusting Christ’s sacrifice?
Practice: Read 1 Corinthians 5:7 aloud and thank Jesus specifically for being your Passover Lamb.

PRAYER
God, thank You for providing rescue I could never create. I confess that I forget grace and start trusting myself. Keep the sacrifice of Jesus clear in my mind today.
