Psalms 25, 29, 33, 36, and 39 teach the people of God how to live beneath the reign of the covenant King, shaping hearts marked by humility, reverence, repentance, dependence, and trust. These psalms expose the weakness, sinfulness, and mortality of man while exalting the sovereign majesty, steadfast love, and absolute rule of God over creation, history, and the nations, recalibrating the soul away from self-reliance and into restful submission beneath His authority.
