Five Minute Bible

Day 13: Job 35-37

Listen Later

What happens when the storm starts forming?

In today’s episode of Five Minute Bible, we reach Job 35–37, the final words spoken by man before God answers. Elihu is still talking—but something has shifted. The arguments are thinning. The air feels heavier. Creation itself seems to lean in.

Elihu sounds confident. He speaks of God’s greatness, God’s justice, God’s power. And yet, as his words rise, something else begins to gather in the background. Wind. Thunder. Weight. The sense that explanation is about to give way to presence.

As you read today, consider this guiding question:
What posture is left when words run out and God draws near?

Listen closely as human speech fades and the tension builds. The long silence of heaven is ending. The next voice will not belong to a man.

Read your Bible carefully, devotionally, and joyfully—and join us tomorrow as the journey continues.
