DAY 132: Psalms 65–67, 69–70
Psalms 65–67 and 69–70 reveal the kingdom of God as both abundantly life-giving and fiercely opposed in a fallen world. These psalms celebrate the flourishing of creation, the spread of worship among the nations, and the outward expansion of God’s blessing, while also showing that the righteous suffer reproach, hostility, and affliction as that kingdom advances. Together, they point powerfully to Christ, whose reign brings forgiveness and joy to the nations through the Gospel, yet whose path to glory moves through rejection, suffering, and the cross before the final triumph of His everlasting kingdom.
