Sometimes the way forward does not appear until obedience begins. Israel stands between the sea and Pharaoh’s army, and panic feels reasonable.
The Lord tells Moses to lift his staff, stretch out his hand over the sea, and divide it so Israel can pass through on dry ground. The angel of God and the pillar of cloud move behind Israel, standing between them and Egypt through the night.
First Corinthians 10 says Israel was baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea. Paul sees the Red Sea as a defining rescue and identification moment.
God is mighty to save and wise in timing. He places His presence between Israel and Egypt before opening the sea.
The Red Sea shows rescue through judgment: God’s people pass through, and slavery’s army is defeated. Jesus brings the greater deliverance.
Name one place where God is calling you forward, but fear keeps you staring at the obstacle. Ask Him to show the next step, not the whole route.

REFLECT & RESPOND
Key Line: God can turn the place that looked like a dead end into the path of deliverance.
Reflection Question: Where do you need to step forward because God has spoken, even though the obstacle still looks impossible?
Practice: Take one specific step of obedience today in an area where fear has kept you frozen.

PRAYER
Lord, You make a way where I cannot make one. Help me stop staring at what blocks me and start trusting Your power to save. Lead me forward in obedience, protect me by Your presence, and remind me that Jesus has already defeated my deepest enemies.
