DAY 135: 2 Samuel 13–15

2 Samuel 13–15 reveals the devastating unraveling of David’s household as lust, passivity, bitterness, manipulation, and rebellion spread through the kingdom like a growing fracture. These chapters show that forgiven sin can still produce painful earthly consequences, as unresolved injustice and hidden corruption begin tearing apart the very family and kingdom David once united. They ultimately intensify the longing for Christ, the greater Son of David, whose kingdom is not corrupted by sin or sustained through manipulation, but established forever in perfect righteousness, justice, and truth.
