David’s prayers in these psalms are raw:
He’s been betrayed by friends, surrounded by enemies, and overwhelmed with sorrow.

“If an enemy were insulting me, I could endure it… but it is you, a man like myself…” (Psalm 55:12–13)

Still—David doesn’t spiral. He surrenders.
He says: “But I will call to God, and the Lord will save me.”

These psalms show us what to do with our pain: bring it to the God who hears.
