Trust can show up in how much you grab. When you are afraid there will not be enough, you hoard, overwork, overthink, and keep checking.
Moses tells Israel to gather manna according to each person’s need, an omer per person. Some gather more and some less, but everyone has enough.
Jesus teaches His disciples to pray, “Give us this day our daily bread.” That prayer fits the manna story. It does not ask for a lifetime supply in one moment.
God provides enough and commands rest. He is not careless with needs, and He is not impressed by anxious hoarding.
Manna sustained Israel for forty years, but Jesus gives Himself as the true Bread who sustains eternally. Through His death and resurrection, He frees us from proving, hoarding, and striving to save ourselves.
Practice enough. Choose one area where you usually over-grab or over-check.

REFLECT & RESPOND
Key Line: Rest exposes whether you trust God’s provision or your own endless grabbing.
Reflection Question: Where does fear make it hardest for you to believe that enough is enough?
Practice: Set one clear limit today and stop when you reach it as an act of trust.

PRAYER
Father, give me daily bread and a trusting spirit. I often grab more because I am afraid You will not provide. Teach me to receive enough, obey Your limits, and rest without panic.
