Trying to carry everything yourself can look responsible from the outside, but it can also become unhealthy. You may think asking for help means failure, so you keep saying yes until you are exhausted and everyone around you suffers too.
The next day, Moses sits to judge the people, and they stand around him from morning until evening. Jethro asks why Moses is doing this alone.
Acts 6 shows a similar pattern when the apostles face a practical need in the growing church. Rather than neglect prayer and the ministry of the word, they appoint qualified servants to oversee food distribution.
God cares about order, justice, and sustainable service. He does not glorify burnout.
Moses needed others to help judge Israel, but Jesus carries a burden no one else could share: the guilt of sinners at the cross. After rising, He gives gifts to His people and builds His church through many members serving together.
Look at one responsibility you are carrying. Ask whether you need to ask for help, delegate, or step up and support someone else.

REFLECT & RESPOND
Key Line: Faithful service is not proven by carrying alone what God designed to be shared.
Reflection Question: Where are you overcarrying, undercarrying, or refusing wise help?
Practice: Ask for help with one responsibility or offer specific help to someone who is carrying too much.

PRAYER
God, give me humility to receive help and courage to carry what is mine to carry. Keep me from burnout, control, laziness, and pride. Thank You that Jesus carried what only He could carry for me.
