David longed to build the temple—but God said no.
Still, he didn’t pout—he prepared.
He gathered materials, blessed leaders, and charged Solomon to stay faithful.

“Be strong and courageous, and do the work… for the Lord God is with you.” (1 Chron. 28:20)

And Psalm 127 reminds us of the bigger truth:

“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.”

This is a day to release control, take your place, and trust the Builder.
