What you give reveals what you value. Time, money, attention, energy, creativity, and possessions all tell a story about what matters most to you.

The Lord tells Moses to speak to the people of Israel and receive contributions from everyone whose inner desire moves them to give. The offering includes gold, silver, bronze, colored yarns, fine linen, animal skins, acacia wood, oil, spices, and precious stones.

Second Corinthians 9 says each person should give as decided before God, not reluctantly or under pressure, because God loves a cheerful giver. That fits the sanctuary offering.

God desires to dwell with His people, and He gives the pattern for how that happens. He is near, but He is not approached on human terms.

The sanctuary points forward to Jesus, where God’s presence comes near in the fullest way. Christ gives Himself freely, not reluctantly, to bring us to God.

Choose one thing you can offer God willingly: money, time, a skill, attention, or help. Do it without posting, performing, or resenting it.

REFLECT & RESPOND

Key Line: Generosity becomes worship when it is freely offered for God’s purpose.

Reflection Question: What do your habits of giving reveal about what you trust, value, or fear?

Practice: Offer one specific gift of time, money, skill, or attention to God’s purpose today.

PRAYER

God, everything I have comes from You. Teach me to give willingly instead of tightly holding what You have entrusted to me. Thank You for coming near through Jesus and making Your presence possible among Your people.
