A table and a light can change the feeling of a room. A table says there is provision and fellowship.
God commands Israel to make a table of acacia wood overlaid with pure gold, with rings and poles for carrying it. Dishes, pans, jars, and bowls are also made of gold.
Jesus says in John 8, “I am the light of the world.” The lampstand gave light in the holy place, but Jesus brings the light of life to everyone who follows Him. The tabernacle light was beautiful and necessary, yet it pointed toward the greater Light who reveals God and leads people out of darkness.
God is not bare or stingy in His presence. The table and lampstand show beauty, order, provision, and light.
Jesus fulfills the symbols of bread and light. He is the Bread of Life who satisfies our deepest hunger and the Light of the world who leads us into life.
Notice one place where you feel spiritually hungry or unclear. Bring that need to Jesus directly.

REFLECT & RESPOND
Key Line: God’s presence gives light for your darkness and bread for your hunger.
Reflection Question: Where are you looking for fullness or clarity apart from God’s presence?
Practice: Read John 8:12 aloud and take one action that follows Christ’s light today.

PRAYER
Jesus, You are the Light of the world and the One who satisfies my deepest hunger. Shine into my confusion and feed what lesser things cannot fill. Help me stop chasing substitutes and receive life in Your presence.
