A home is more than walls. It tells you who lives there, what matters, and how people are welcomed.

God gives Moses instructions for the tabernacle curtains. Skilled workers are to make fine linen curtains with blue, purple, and scarlet yarn and cherubim woven into them.

John 1 says the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. The word behind “dwelt” carries the idea of pitching a tent.

God chooses to dwell with His people, and He cares about how His dwelling is formed. Beauty and detail matter because His presence matters.

Jesus is the true dwelling of God among us. He is the Word made flesh, full of grace and truth.

Prepare one space for God’s presence intentionally. Clear a desk, silence your phone, open your Bible, or sit somewhere quiet.
