A closed door can make you aware of both invitation and distance. You know something important is on the other side, but access is limited.

God gives Moses instructions for the tabernacle’s wooden frames, bases of silver, bars, and supports. The structure is carefully measured and fitted together.

Hebrews 10 says believers have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, through the new and living way He opened through the curtain, that is, through His flesh. Exodus shows the veil as separation.

God is holy and orderly. He gives precise instructions for where things belong and how His presence is approached.

Jesus fulfills the veil by giving His flesh for us. When He dies, the temple curtain tears, showing that access to God is opened through His blood.

Approach prayer with confidence in Christ, not confidence in your mood or performance. Say, “Jesus opened the way,” then confess honestly and ask God for what you need.

REFLECT & RESPOND

Key Line: Access to God is mercy opened by Christ, not confidence earned by you.

Reflection Question: What makes you hesitant to draw near to God, and how does Jesus answer that fear?

Practice: Begin one prayer today by saying, “Jesus opened the way,” then pray honestly.
